Week of September 9th News!

Just wanted to make a quick post with some news regarding our 2nd Grade Team!

Practices will be moving back to the originally assigned location starting today, 9/9. Coach Bowen will be available to answer questions from 5:30-6PM before practice begins. (see map below)

Team Shirts - We have ordered our team shirts and those will be ready either the end of this week or early next week. We did have some interest in parents ordering for themselves/family etc. The shirts will be dry-fit material with the below design printed on the front. The shirt will be black (hopefully to hide all the lovely stains our boys/girl pick up thought out their day). If you would like to purchase additional shirts please follow the below instructions. Shirts will be $15 each ($4 for Name & $3 for Number in addition to the cost of the shirt - our team shirts will not have this but we can add that on to any additional orders if you wish). There will also be an additional $2 charge for 2XL and $3 charge for 3XL. These will not take long to get made (we would be looking at next week) and I can deliver to practice or games. There are not men's and women's sizes, it is one size for all - I know we had some people ask about that.

If your child need any additional game socks - we have those available also for $13, I know socks like to go missing at my house...

I am also going to add that next two games following this weekend will be at home. It is my guess (and this is only a guess) that we will be required to work the concession stand the 21st of September and possibly again on the 12th of October. If you would be interested in assisting with a shift please let me know - as soon as I hear exact details I will put it out there to the group. Additionally, we will need 3 volunteers 16+ to work the remainder of our home games. I am happy to continue working these myself when I can and I will tell you that both are easy! For concessions there are high school girls that do the majority of the work, and we are just there to support them.
